Vinyl chloride monomer - Health-based calculated occupational cancer risk values

Occupational exposure to vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) can cause liver cancer. This is a risk to plastic industry workers who may be exposed to this substance. This is written in an advisory report of the Health Council of the Netherlands, which today is presented  to the Minister of Social Affairs and Employment.
