The Health Council currently sees no reason to expand the target group for Q fever vaccination. The Council remains committed to limited vaccination, i.e. for some groups of patients with cardiovascular disease who are at greater risk of complications from Q fever. This was the Health Council’s recommendation in an advisory report to the Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport that was published on 14 December 2010.
